Club Overview
Madison Golf Club is a private, nine-hole golf course established in 1896. The Club offers many activities for members and their families during the official season from April through October. The club offers tournaments including a member/guest, member/member, club championship and many more. The women’s division includes 18-holers and 9-holers that play weekly tournaments on Wednesday mornings as well as special tournaments that include team events, low net competitions and the club championship. The senior division plays various informal tournaments on the third Thursday of each month. Club members also participate in the New Jersey PGA pro-am series. Children are welcome to play with a parent at designated times, according to their age and ability, and participate in the junior program.
Clinics and private lessons are offered by the professional staff to encourage all club members and their families to learn the game of golf and continue to improve their level of skill.
The Club has a fleet of power carts, pull carts, lockers, pro shop and clubhouse. Club staff includes a head professional, assistant professional, course superintendent, grounds crew and bag personnel.
Tee times are generally not needed; the club staff will send players out and arrange playing partners, if requested.
The clubhouse and golf shop are open mid-March to mid-December and the course remains open for play as conditions permit year round.
